Next Breeding Planned for Spring 2026

We are always accepting applications for our waitlist. 
How does our waitlist work? If your application is approved your name is added to our waitlist. When we have a confirmed breeding we reach out to those on the waitlist in the order applications were received. Once puppies are born we ask for a non-refundable deposit to hold your place on the pick list. Puppy pick goes in the order applications are received. We do already have 2 applicants on the waitlist for the upcoming litter (as of 11/19/25). 
🔴UPDATE 11/16/25🔴February 2026 will mark 3 years since I opened Rott Karma Kennels. Karma has had 3 successful, healthy litters - The Lucky Litter (5 pups, 1 being stillborn), The Spooky Six (6 pups), and Karma’s Christmas Litter (9 pups).
Sage has had 1 successful, healthy litter - Sage’s 1st Litter (9 pups, 1 being stillborn).
As a new business, bumps along the road are expected. This year we hit every bump possible. I made the tough decision to retire Sage from breeding at the beginning of this year when she was just 3.5 years old. 
During the middle of hefty vet bills looking into Sage’s health we decided to put a pause on the construction of our new kennel space and paused any breedings with the intentions of breeding Karma in the fall. When it rains it pours and my fiancé was involved in a freak accident which led to two emergency surgeries, the loss of his eye and him being out of work for over a month. 
Because that wasn’t enough, unfortunately now it seems Karma had a silent heat and we have missed the chance to breed.
What does this mean? We will not have another breeding opportunity until Spring of 2026 *IF* things go smoothly. 
With no breedings this year that is quite the hit to my program. With wonderful forever families patiently waiting on our waitlist since last December, I feel terribly that this is out of my control. 
I am trying to look on the positive side. Thus far, every breeding we have had has been successful with pups that are thriving in their forever homes. To have 4 successful breedings where all pups were placed quickly in the last less than 3 years, I remind myself that is quite the achievement for a new business. 
2026 will be a great year with Karma possibly having her last breeding and planned breedings for Spirit and Tinsel winter of 2026.

🔴EDIT- At this point what is going on with Sage is still not confirmed so I cannot say if it is hereditary or not at this time, although we are leaning towards something that is not typically hereditary. If testing comes back that it could be hereditary, we do plan to do any genetic testing that may be available to help determine if it could be hereditary. If any of our breeding dogs were to develop anything that was hereditary, I would reach out to each family individually that could possibly be affected so they could be aware and that dog would be retired immediately.
Our breeding dogs have had their OFA JLPP genetic testing done and are normal/clear before breeding.
